Case #116

This woman scheduled a consultation with board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Francesco Campanile because she was unhappy with her breast size. Women with lesser breast fullness often feel self-conscious about their appearance, and often feel like they need to conceal their smaller breasts.

After reviewing her case, Dr. Campanile recommended breast enhancement. Because she wanted fuller, more rounded breasts and did not have any issues with breast sagging, she was a candidate for breast augmentation surgery. Breast sagging is determined by the position of the nipple areola complex relative to the fold below the breast. Nice the nipple areola complex was above the fold, she had no sagging and therefore no form of breast lift would be required.

After this patient's breast augmentation procedure, you can see that her breasts are much fuller and rounder. Dr. Campanile was careful to create a natural-looking slope from the collar bone all the way to the nipple. 

The patient is shown here approximately 3 months after surgery. She is very happy with her results, and feels more confident about the fullness of her breasts.
