This patient was 18 years old when she underwent breast augmentation surgery performed by  Dr. Francesco Campanile. The patient wanted a natural looking result, and requested to be a small C cup because of her small frame.

During her cosmetic consultation, Dr. Campanile discussed the details of breast augmentation, and her surgical options including type of breast implants. Dr. Campanile placed 300cc implants under this patient's muscle. When patients have minimal breast tissue present initially, placing an implant under the muscle can help to mask it's shape, and to create a much more natural result. Additionally, placing the implant under the muscle helps to prevent premature breast sagging, as implants placed over the muscle can expedite the sagging process due to the natural properties of gravity and the weight of the implant. As a result, the best option for her was implant placement under the muscle.

The patient is very happy with her results, and is shown here approximately 6 months after her breast augmentation surgery.
